Male And Female Actors For Feature Film Leading Roles

FOR THIS INDEPENDENT FEATURE FILM PROJECT, WE SEEK CO-FUNDING MALE AND FEMALE ACTORS, WHO, WITHIN THE FILM PRODUCTION, WILL ALSO HAVE A CO-EXECUTIVE PRODUCER STATUS – RECEVING SUBSTANTIAL PERCENTAGES OF THE COMPLETED FEATURE FILM’S TOTAL SALE REVENUE WORLDWIDE BY WRITTEN CONTRACT, IN ADDITION TO THE ALREADY SUBSTANTIAL REVENUE PERCENTAGES PAID TO THE ACTORS FOR THEIR RESPECTIVE ROLE PERFORMANCES.

Film Theme: The Impact of Militarization on Ordinary People’s Life.

Casting Call: Swedish feature film with international market distribution, narrating a powerful reality-based story about the growing fear of an imminent third world war and the related compulsory military conscription being reintroduced in more and more countries which previously had abolished it (original drama screenplay with an innovative creative concept), is seeking 18 – 68 y. o. English-speaking (native and non-native, regardless of accent or dialect) co-funding male and female actors worldwide for its leading roles.

Role Categories:

A) Military Staff (Leading Roles)
Role Requirements and Possible Elements of Difficulty:
– Actors’ Actual Age: 18 – 68 Years Old.
– Lines delivered in fluent English (native or non-native) regardless of accent.
– A good line memory and a good action memory for efficiently performing in long, theatre-like scenes.
– A convincing performance displaying military language, procedures and routines (to be trained during set rehearsals).

B) Medical Staff (Leading Roles)
Role Requirements and Possible Elements of Difficulty:
– Actors’ Actual Age: 18 – 68 Years Old.
– Lines delivered in fluent English (native or non-native) regardless of accent.
– A good line memory and a good action memory for efficiently performing in long, theatre-like scenes.
– A convincing performance displaying medical language, procedures and routines (to be trained during set rehearsals).

C) Administrative Staff (Leading Roles)
Role Requirements and Possible Elements of Difficulty:
– Actors’ Actual Age: 18 – 68 Years Old.
– Lines delivered in fluent English (native or non-native) regardless of accent.
– A good line memory and a good action memory for efficiently performing in long, theatre-like scenes.
– A convincing performance displaying office language, procedures and routines (to be trained during set rehearsals).

D) Military Conscripts (Leading Roles)
Role Requirements and Possible Elements of Difficulty:
– Actors’ Actual Age: 18 – 68 Years Old.
– Lines delivered in fluent English (native or non-native) regardless of accent.
– A good line memory and a good action memory for efficiently performing in long, theatre-like scenes.
– Undressed performance in medical examination scenes (within the military conscription context).

E) Conscripts’ Family (Leading Roles)
Role Requirements and Possible Elements of Difficulty:
– Actors’ Actual Age: 18 – 68 Years Old.
– Lines delivered in fluent English (native or non-native) regardless of accent.
– A good line memory and a good action memory for efficiently performing in long, theatre-like scenes.

F) Conscripts’ Friends (Leading Roles)
Role Requirements and Possible Elements of Difficulty:
– Actors’ Actual Age: 18 – 68 Years Old.
– Lines delivered in fluent English (native or non-native) regardless of accent.
– A good line memory and a good action memory for efficiently performing in long, theatre-like scenes.

Important: Actors who are preliminarily considered or have been preliminarily selected for one or several of the above-listed role categories (and decide to participate in the casting) are asked to kindly confirm in their respective replies that they fully meet the respective role category’s / role categories’ role requirements.

Revenue Share: All actor co-operation is based on written contracts, and all participating actors who are co-funding their respective film roles will receive substantial percentages of the completed feature film’s Total Sale Revenue (not just of its profit) on all markets worldwide (without any time limitation), as well as Leading Role Actor credits and Co-Executive Producer credits in the film titles and in all relevant related media.

Casting applications for this feature film are currently accepted.

Your complete application in English language must contain:

• Your CV (do not forget to include your full name, exact age and date of birth, country, city, nationality and citizenship, e-mail address, Teams ID, and telephone number);
• At least four recent photos of yourself (at least two portraits and at least two full body pictures), preferably not exceeding 2 MB each;
• A short introduction letter, telling us a bit about yourself.

Please observe that only complete applications, as required here above, will be considered.

Casting-selected applicants will be booked for Individual Video Auditions (through the platform Teams) consisting of an Audition Interview – and, if the Interview Result recommends it, of an Online Screen Test (based on a Scripted Text which the Audition Participant will receive in advance).

Casting-selected applicants who decide to accept the invitation of participating in the Casting and do have Film- and Role-Related Questions are invited to kindly prepare their respective Questions for the above-mentioned Audition Interview, where they will receive Complete and Detailed Answers within the available frame of time. (Kindly notice that for practical reasons we do not have the possibility to answer Film- and Role-Related Questions by e-mail.)

At the end of the Casting Process, the applicants selected for Film Roles will receive detailed Cooperation Proposals which will be the ground for their respective Cooperation Contracts.

Note: This casting is open to male and female actors of all professional levels, from absolute beginners to very experienced talents (who want to either open or enrich their filmographies with an important feature film title, both as actors and as co-executive producers).
